Hospital Giving List

I have The List! As most of you reading this know, Daughters of the Nile exists to support the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. This list is of the items needed by the various Shriner's Hospitals.

Please Note: Only new items will be accepted. The reason for this is because used items may have bacteria that could cause infections.

On-to the list!

Birth to 1 Year

• activity centers
• infant mirrors/musical toys

• NO WATER FILLED toys please

1 to 3 years

• fashion and career dolls (all nationalities)

11 to 18 Years

• board games: Sorry, Trouble, Monopoly, etc

• models, crafts, and science kits, etc

• teen word searches and sports books
• teen movies, music and magazines
• hand-held electronic games
• nerf balls
• personal CD players with headphones
• caps and t-shirts with sport logos (adult L-2XL)
• wristwatches
• Game Boy Advance and games
• paint by numbers sets
• disposable cameras
• scrapbooking material
• mini bottles of bubbles
• Polariod 600 film
• books or CDs in Spanish

The hospitals have been very fortunate to have generous support of the various Shrine clubs and units and Daughters of the Nile Temples, so they do not need the following (as they have plenty right now):

• hospital gowns/dresses
• knitted slippers/bed socks
• infant bibs
• pre-op dolls
• large afghans
• Barbie dolls
• coloring books
• Matchbox cars
• wagons

If you do not have time to purchase items, please feel free to send money if you wish to donate. Our hospital giving chairpersons (Elizabeth and Amy) will be glad to purchase items to send to the hospital in your name.
